Service Description:
|
Administers programs and services focused on improving the quality of life for Indigenous people living in an urban environment
Provides services and support for Indigenous individuals to promote integrated response, independent living, community participation and improved quality of lifeWorks in partnership with the Patricia Region Senior Services IncFriendly Visiting/Security Checks- Arranges visits and phone calls from staff/volunteers in individual's home on a regular basis
- Provides emotional, social and well-being support for the individual
Scheduled Van Service- Provides transportation to medical appointments, shopping, bill paying, attendance to social/cultural activities and to life enrichment events
- Offers the transportation for surrounding communities from Wabigoon to Eagle River one day per week; rest of week services are for Dryden clients
- Charges a nominal fee based on one-ways and additional stops
