Service Description: A non-profit organization that allows individuals with a disability as well as seniors to remain active and independent within their community

Provides support services on-site for individuals with physical disabilities
Services are provided on-site in the following housing units:
Kenora: Henesy Terrace, 14 Woods Dr
  • Offers wheelchair accessible, rent-geared-to-income housing in association with the Kenora Municipal Nonprofit Housing
  • Support services are available 24 hours a day
  • Provides each apartment with an emergency response system that is monitored by on-site staff
Fort Frances: Lady Frances, 1300 Fifth St E
  • Offers 1 barrier-free apartment and 8 units under renovation in a rent-geared-to-income building administered by Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB)
  • Support services are available 8 hours a day, 7 days a week

Application: Housing and support services are applied for through the Kenora Municipal Non-Profit Housing Corp or Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB)
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 16 years of age and older with physical disabilities and

  • Living in one of the Supportive Housing units and requiring assistance with daily living activities OR

  • Requiring low-income housing and attendant care
