Service Description:
|
A non-profit organization that allows individuals with a disability as well as seniors to remain active and independent within their community
Provides assisted living services for seniors at Riverview Manor in Rainy River- Offers services 12 hours per day on-site
- Consists of 14 apartments, four of which are modified rent-geared-to-income units for individuals 60 years of age and over
- Develops plans for required support services with each individual and sets up schedule
- Works in partnership with the Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB)
Assisted living services include:- Care coordination
- Homemaking
- Personal support
- Security checks or reassurance services which includes visits to ensure client health and safety

Application:

- Application process is through the Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB)
- Application for housing and assisted living services is available at office or online
- Referrals accepted from consumer, family member and other parties
- Completed applications are reviewed and approved by Admissions Selection Committee
- Interview is arranged with Coordinator

Individuals 60 years of age or older with conditions such as hypertension, arthritis, chronic pain, congestive heart failure, mental illness, mobility impairment, as well as conditions related to aging
