Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Animakee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation

Operates as the main Band Office for Northwest Angle 37 community members and oversees community programs, services and facilities

  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Treaty #3 Police Services, Kenora Central/West Detachment
  • Child & Family services provided by Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services, Head Office in Kenora
  • Fire Prevention Services offered by Anishinaabeg of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council
  • Provides a recreation centre (Regina Bay) used for various recreational activities, community events and weekly bingos
  • Offers health care and programs at the Zhaawanaabinesiik Health Centre
  • Serviced by air through Sioux Narrows Airport located 5 miles SE of Sioux Narrows
