Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Kingfisher Lake First Nation- Tribal Council: Shibogama First Nations Council
- Political Territorial
Organization: Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services
Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:- Road maintenance
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Street lighting
- Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plants
- Installation and maintenance of solar power panels on the roof of water treatment plant
- Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Garbage collection and maintenance of landfill site
Capital Planning- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
