Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Wapakeka First Nation- Tribal Council: Shibogama First Nations Council

Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements- Provides transportation within the community for individuals accessing the Nursing station or Health office
- Provides assistance with completing prior approval applications for long distance medical appointments
- Offers assistance with arrangements for accommodation and travel details for individuals attending medical appointments out of community including Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre or Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital
