Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Fort Severn First Nation

Operates a detoxification centre for community members addicted to Oxycontin
  • Operates as a day program
  • Offers the drug suboxone in place of methadone to minimize the effects of withdrawal
Program includes the following services:
  • Intake
  • Withdrawal treatment
  • Counselling
  • Aftercare
Also provides:
  • Mental health and addictions counselling
  • Referrals to other treatment centres and programs such as Nodin Child & Family Intervention Services in Sioux Lookout

  • Open to referrals from any source

  • Requires completed registration package
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Fort Severn First Nation struggling with addictions
