Service Description: Provides a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Indigenous peoples residing in or migrating to the city

Provides community support services to all urban Aboriginal peoples to allow them to live independently in the community
Services offered:
  • Aboriginal Support Services
  • Congregate Dining
  • Friendly Visiting
  • Security Checks
  • Transportation for medical appointments

Fees: None
Application: Referrals can be made by anyone in community
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Must be of Aboriginal descent

  • Must be 55 years of age and older

  • Must be frail, vulnerable, and at risk

  • Must have one or more chronic illnesses or disabilities

  • Has limited access to culturally appropriate services
