Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Naicatchewenin First Nation

Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation from/to Naicatchewenin Reserve to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in the town of Fort Frances
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Application:
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

  • Advance cancellation recommended
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Naicatchewenin First Nation living on-reserve requiring transportation for medical appointments
