- Provides access through booked same-day appointments to an on-call Physician for individuals requiring urgent care
- Provides treatment services for medical conditions that require urgent treatment but do not require a visit to a hospital emergency department

Application:

- Must have booked appointment; no walk-ins accepted
- Operates on first-come first-served basis by appointment only
- Call for appointment same day after 9 am; when all afternoon time slots are filled, call again the next day but if emergency, go the Atikokan General Hospital
- Must advise reception about the reason for the required visit

- Individuals who need medical care for minor illnesses and injuries of an urgent nature
- Urgent Care Clinic is open to all, not just patients of Atikokan Medical Associates
