Service Description: To ensure that all people live in a state of dignity, sharing and participating in all elements of living in the community

Provides a range of supports through the use of technology
Clinical Supports
Coordinates with Surrey Place Centre in Toronto through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to provide various clinical supports from a team consisting of a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse, psychologist, behaviour therapists, a speech language pathologist and an occupational therapist
  • Provides education, information, diagnoses, advice and referrals for medical issues
  • Delivers the supports through video conferencing
Resource Library and Training
  • Provides educational training seminars to caregivers, family members, health professionals and the general public about mental health, developmental disabilities and related topics through video conferencing
  • Accepts name and email address of individuals wanting to receive monthly list of upcoming training seminars by email
  • Provides a resource library of books, DVD's and videos on related topics including Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis
Xperiential Program
  • Coordinates various activities for service users via technology
  • Services may include but are not limited to education and literacy, leisure, life skills, music therapy, physical therapy, stretching and relaxation, and vocational skills

Application: Clinical Supports and Resource Library and Training: Arrangements must be booked in advance with Access Coordinator
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 18 years of age and older with an intellectual and/or developmental disability


Clinical Supports: Available to individual, family members and professionals
