Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Deer Lake First Nation

Promotes the development of good mental health and provides services for individuals with mental health issues
Provides information and awareness activities including but not limited to:
  • Depression
  • Family violence
  • Stress management
Services include:
  • Counseling services
  • Cultural activities and crafts
  • Recreational activities
  • Wellness activities
Youth Mental Health Worker
  • Responsible for health assessments, counseling and assistance with case management

Application:
  • Open to referrals from any source

  • Appointments recommended but walk-ins accepted
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Deer Lake First Nation struggling with mental health issues

Language Notes: Cree, Oji-Cree; available upon request
