Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Deer Lake First Nation- Tribal Council: Keewaytinook Okimakanak/Northern Chiefs

Organization: Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #5
Supports for people living with prediabetes or diabetes- Provides education and services for the prevention, management and treatment of diabetes
- Provides case management and screening services
- Works to reduce the number of avoidable complications that can arise from uncontrolled diabetes
- Advises on developing and implementing an approach to care and management of diabetes
- Assists individuals in finding appropriate services
- Provides referrals to other health care professionals
