  • Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation within the community for individuals accessing the Nursing Station or Health Office
  • Provides assistance with completing prior approval applications for long distance medical appointments
    Offers assistance with arrangements for accommodation and travel details for individuals attending medical appointments at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre or Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital

    • Requires written proof of medical appointment

    • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

    • Advance cancellation recommended
    Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Deer Lake First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age
