Service Description: Coordinates the delivery of health care services to the Anishinabe people across the Sioux Lookout region

  • Provides immediate crisis response services to communities affected by tragic incidents in the First Nation community
  • Provides crisis intervention and support to immediate families impacted by tragic incidents occurring within their family unit (suicide, homicide, tragic accidents etc)
  • Ensures community receives support and assistance to secure the safety of residents
  • Provides information and referrals to appropriate resources and services
  • Advocates on behalf of victims
