Service Description:

Operates an emergency shelter and support services for abused women and their children
Assists abused women in making the transition to an abuse-free lifeHelps secure and maintain housing, and helps develop an individual safety and transitional planSupports women to live free from violence by connecting them with necessary community support such as housing counselling, parenting support, education upgrading, job training, income support, legal aid and health and wellness servicesAssists with the creation and development of safety plansAssists women in identifying the choices and resources available for them and their children

Eligibility / Target Population:

Women 16 years of age and older and their children involved in any form of family crisis and/or violence or have experienced physical, sexual, emotional, physiological, financial or spiritual abuse and requiring temporary and/or long-term housing
