Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Sachigo Lake First Nation- Tribal Council: Windigo First Nations
- Political Territorial Organization:
Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for members of the community from school aged to elders- Provides recreational services at the newly renovated Sachigo Lake First Nation Arena
- Provides assistance with the Annual Ice Fishing Derby, which provides brand new vehicles as top prizes
Coordinates a variety of programs including:- Competitive sports events for hockey and baseball
- Floor hockey nights, for groups of men or women or youth
- Dances
- Movie nights
