Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Sachigo Lake First Nation- Tribal Council: Windigo First Nations
- Political Territorial Organization:
Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements- Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community
- Provides transportation assistance from/to Sachigo Lake First Nation to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay
- Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

- Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies
- Advance cancellation recommended
