Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Nibinamik First Nation also known as Summer Beaver

Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services
Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:
  • Road maintenance including assistance with winter road
  • Landscaping and community beautification
  • Street lighting
  • Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plant
  • Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
  • Snow removal
  • Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
  • Garbage collection and maintenance of landfill site
  • Oversees maintenance of local hockey arena, power plant, diesel plant/fuel centre and airport
Capital Planning
  • Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
