  • Provides health awareness and prevention education
  • Coordinates clinics in areas including Blood Pressure, Immunization, Sexual Health and Communicable Diseases
Offers the following programs:
  • Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Detox Centre
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Family Well Being Program
  • Healthy Babies Healthy Children
  • Home and Community Care
  • Medical Transportation Program
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
  • Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
  • Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
  • Reduces the need to travel to receive care
