Addresses public health issues and promotes healthy livingAdministers health promotion and disease prevention programs within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts
Provides basic preventive and restorative dental services through a mobile dental office for children and adults who do not have access to dental care- Provides dental services for recipients of the Healthy Smiles Ontario Program (HSO), Ontario Disability Support Pension (ODSP), Ontario Works (OW) and Non-Insured Health Benefits Program (NIHB)
- Provides information on preventive dental health practices

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Residents of Northwestern Ontario for whom dental care is a financial problem may be eligible for free dental services; contact dental team for assessment
Healthy Smiles Ontario
Children must be:
- 17 years of age and younger
- a resident of Ontario and
- a member of a household with an Adjusted Family Net Income (AFNI) at or under the levels shown here
Non-Insured Health Benefits
- Required to present status card
Ontario Disability Support (ODSP)
- Required to present dental card issued by ODSP
Ontario Works (OW)
- Requires dental card issued by the Ontario Works' office; proof of eligibility for the month must be shown
