Enhances, maintains, and promotes the mental well being of individuals, families and communities
?Operate a voluntary, administrative court procedure for individuals who are involved in the court system as a result of a mental health crisisProvides consultation to the CrownSupports and encourages the client's growth by creating a community based diversion planworks directly with individuals and links them to mental health services in the communityDiversion plans normally last for six months and when successfully completed, can result in a withdrawal of the original charges

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
- Individuals 12 years of age and older
- Individuals with a low to medium criminal offence whose mental health needs can be better met through services based in the community
- Individuals must be willing to engage in the diversion agreement
