Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of Aroland First Nation- Tribal Council: Matawa First Nations Management

Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements- Provides transportation from/to Aroland First Nation Settlement to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist) in the towns of Nakina and Geraldton; exceptions for travel to Thunder Bay will be made on a case-by-case basis
- Provides assistance with completing prior approval applications for long distance medical appointments
- Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits Service claims
