Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Long Lake 58 First Nation

  • Provides information to raise awareness of family violence and strategies to stop it
  • Provides support in obtaining equitable access to primary health and healing services and programs
  • Facilitates group talking circles to promote inner healing
  • Offers individual peer counselling
  • Provides advocacy between individual and organizations and agencies
  • Hosts traditional gatherings including traditional teachings and feasts
  • Supervises and plans sewing circles
