Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Long Lake 58 First Nation- Tribal Council: Matawa First Nations
- Political Territorial Organization:
Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for members of the community
Offers the following facilities:- Community beach
- Community hall
- Community sports field
- Outdoor skating rink
- Secondary school gymnasium
Offers and organizes following activities with assistance from other community members and groups:- Annual Christmas party
- Baseball and soccer games
- Outdoor skating events
- Bingo games and community meetings
