Service Description: Governed by an elected council of 13 members: the Mayor, 5 Councillors-at-Large and 7 Ward Councillors, municipal elections are held every 4 years

  • Organizes project teams that identify crime and disorder problems in the community and through short term projects attempt to extinguish the problem
  • Provides traffic investigations and enforcement
  • Fosters relationships between Police and the Indigenous People of the community
  • Acts as a direct liaison to Schools in the community
