Service Description:
|
Operates a fully-accredited, 60-bed acute care facility and provides an array of servicesAdministers the William A 'Bill' George Extended Care Facility
Provides a broad spectrum of mental health and addiction services Services offered include but not limited to:- Provides drug and alcohol assessments
- Offers case management and forensic case management
- Provides mental health and addictions counselling, both long-term and crisis counselling
- Offers problem gambling counselling
- Provides community outreach and education
Share for Hope Program- Provides weekly visits to Out of The Cold Shelter by community volunteers (survivors)
- Volunteers speak and offer encouragement about topics such as addictions, homelessness, family violence and grief
Also offers a satellite office in Pickle Lake two days per month

Application:

- Intake assessment required
- All addictions clients under the age of 16 years must have a Consent to Treatment of Youth form signed at office at time of intake by a parent or guardian
- Open to referrals from any source
|
Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Clients 16 years of age and older struggling with mental health and/or addictions issues who are required to:
- Be respectful and prepared to work on issues
- Arrive clean and sober
- Cancel 24 hours in advance if unable to make appointment
Addiction services available to individuals 12 years of age and older
