Service Description: Provides elementary and secondary education for students of all abilities

  • Discusses and makes recommendations to the Lakehead District School Board about matters affecting the establishment, development and delivery of special education programs and services for exceptional students
  • Collaborates in the annual review of the special education plan
  • Provides input in the annual budget process and reviews financial statements that relate to Special Education
  • Assists people who are having difficulty in accessing the special educational resources needed by their children
