Service Description: Works to eradicate the social conditions which contribute to violence against individuals who identify as female and their children through public education, lobbying, research and political action

Crisis intervention and culturally sensitive counselling, supports and referrals
  • a 24 hour telephone crisis line
  • individual counselling and support groups
  • legal support, advocacy, information, and referrals
  • court support, accompaniment and advocacy program
  • information on alternatives to legal justice system
  • public education and training to end gender based violence in our community
  • all services confidential
  • Trans/ gender diverse positive environment

Fees: None
Application: Call, email or drop in; self-referral or third party referral, with consent; an intake process/appointment is generally required; collect calls accepted
Eligibility / Target Population: Survivors of sexual violence 16 years and older, as well as family members, non-offending partners and friends
Languages: English * French
Language Notes: Ojibway, Spanish; upon request
