Service Description: Provides food, clothing, and emergency shelter to those in need within the community

    • Offers a hot nutritious meal on a daily basis to anyone in need
    Overnight Shelter
    • Provides a dormitory style facility with 27 beds for male, 5 beds for female, 10 beds for youth (5 male, 5 female); overflow capacity for 20 additional beds
    • Each dorm has washroom, shower area, lockers
    • Laundry facilities available to residents
    • Provides breakfast, lunch and supper served daily
    Clothing Depot
    • Provides free clothing for individuals in need
    Donations
    • Gratefully accepts donations, particulary of the following much needed items:
      • Personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, soap, shampoo, etc)
      • Feminine hygiene products
      • Towels and rags
      • Blankets
      • Socks and underwear
      • Hats and toques, mittens and gloves
      • Donations can be dropped off at the shelter before 1:30 pm or after 3:30 pm, 7 days a week

    Fees: None - for individuals eligible for Ontario Works
    Application: Overnight accommodation -- Application form for assistance from Ontario Works will be completed if person is eligible
