Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Seine River First Nation

Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities
Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following:
  • Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Weech-it-te-win Child and Family Services in Fort Frances
  • Hospital services available in Atikokan and Fort Frances
  • Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Treaty #3 Police; call for police services to be dispatched to reserve
  • Provides the following facilities for community members: a Resource Centre, a Gym, a Learning Centre, the Roundhouse, a Water Treatment Plant and a Ball Park
  • Serviced by air through the closest airport in the town of Fort Frances, located approximately an hour's drive away
  • Hosts the annual Seine River First Nation Traditional Powwow in July
  • Conducts most shopping and business affairs in Fort Frances
