Emergency Room- Provides immediate care for emergency situations - including serious or life-threatening illnesses or injuries
Palliative Care- Provides emotional and spiritual support along with pain and symptom management
- Individuals in the end stages of terminal illness and to their friends and families
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) - North Network- Provides access to specialized medical care using video conferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
- Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
- Reduces the need to travel to receive medical care
