A community organization that works with families to promote the health and development of children and youth who are in financial need
Focuses on 3 main themes: children, family and community"A Kitchen for Our Community" offers opportunities for older adults, men, women, teens and children to come together to cook and learn about food and nutritionWorks with parents, future parents and caregivers of children to respond to the needs and concerns they have in raising their childrenParticipants are actively involved in program development and implementation as peer leadersProvides free child care while parent participates in programsProvides nutritional snacks at all programs at no costOffers evening and weekend programming for young teen parentsOffers prenatal and postnatal support to teens, women and their familiesProvides bus transportation for participants to attend programsParticipates as a member of the Food Action NetworkOffers various programs including the following:- Community Kitchens

- Planning Team
- Parenting Programs
- Pre and Post Natal Support
- Home Visiting Program
