Service Description: Offers public library services in two locations

Location closed due to structural issues as of Friday, June 28, 2024 - Library services available at Kenora location or online 24/7

Operates a community public library and loans out various items including the following:
  • Books (including some large print), magazines, and audio visual material (DVDs, CDs, audio books), obituary files, periodicals, e books and downloadable audio
  • Material available through inter library loan
Provides a wide variety of programs and services:
  • Faxing, photocopying, scanning and printing of documents
  • Internet and wireless access
  • Home services
  • Information service
  • Limited number of books in French language
  • Local history material
  • Local newspapers on microfilm
  • Digital collection of newspaper archives and local history texts in progress
  • Reference and research help
Offers a variety of age appropriate programs and services. Call for more information on programs and services available at this location. Examples include:
  • Book clubs
  • Computer classes
  • Homework help
  • Literacy programs
  • Movie nights
  • Parent and child drop in program
  • Reading programs
  • Story time
